Directions

Anyone coming to Cape Cod by land crosses the Cape Cod Canal – which means the Cape is, technically, an island. The Cape Cod Canal is the widest man-made canal in the world (!) and it opened a day after the Panama Canal in July of 1914.

If you’re using GPS to find us, the address is 63 Old County Road, Truro, MA.
Coming north on Rt. 6, travel through Orleans, Eastham and Wellfleet (the signs will say “Rt 6 E,” but Rt.. 6 turns north with the Cape before Orleans). About a mile or so after you pass the “Entering Truro” sign , look for Prince Valley Rd. on your left. Turn left on Prince Valley, and take this woodsy, winding road (careful – lots of blind curves) to the end, where it dead-ends on Old County Road. Turn right. In roughly a mile and a half, you should see our sign, our wooden fence and our somewhat steep driveway. If you get to Fisher Road, you’ve gone one house too far. (We’re not the dark blue sign that just says “Bayview”).

Instead of turning left off Rt. 6 on Prince Valley Rd., you can turn left earlier, on Pamet Point Rd., soon after Moby Dick’s, for a driving treat. “Witchy trees” is how one of our guests described them. They’re some kind of oak. Keep going until you reach Old County Rd.; turn right and you’re home in about two miles.

We’ve got a steep driveway and room for about three (or four, if you’re careful) cars at the top, and two more spaces off to the side. If you don’t mind blocking each other, you can park your cars all the way down the driveway.
